The One & Only... Pumpkin Bong
Learn How To Carve A Pumpkin Bong
What You Will Need for the DIY Pumpkin Bong?
I’m sure we are we are all familiar with an apple bong, this is a similar concept, except with a PUMPKIN!
Supply List:
– A drill with a large and small drill bit. (You can use a skewer or screwdriver if you don’t have a drill.)
– A small, or, medium-sized pumpkin. These are considered pie pumpkins and grocery stores should be stocked in October.
– A down stem, you can use the down-stem from your glass bong.
Step 1: Preparing your pumpkin
There is no need to gut the pumpkin, the smoke will fill the pumpkin, and give your hit a fresh, pumpkin flavor.
Gutting the pumpkin will allow more space, but it will reduce how air-tight your pumpkin bong will be.
The choice is yours.
Step 2: Drill your holes!
You’ll need two or three holes in the pumpkin to make your pumpkin bong function properly.
Ensuring a tight fit is key. Start with a small hole and slowly widen it until you can just barely squeeze your down-stem into it.
You should have to force the down-stem into the pumpkin flesh. If it’s too loose, you’ll suck air and won’t get a good hit.
With the weed-bearing portion of your pumpkin bong set up, drill the mouthpiece and carb.
Hold the pumpkin and choose the most comfortable place to put your mouth and to cover a carb.
Optimally, you’d put the carb near the down-stem hole, with the mouthpiece on the other side of the pumpkin.
Drill these last two holes into the center of the pumpkin at about 45 degrees meeting in the middle.
Step 3: Try it out!
